It’s got an Infiniti badge on it, which I can assume means that it’s powered by a VQ engine, so it’ll sound like shit. I think that’s a reason not to like it.

Right, so we can add wheels to the list of things to get destroyed when someone tussles with a kerb when “pushing track limits. ”

On technical note isn’t this partially intended to reduce the tire acting as part of the suspension as the sidewall flex will go WAY down?

It is going to drastically reduce sidewall flex. LeMans/IMSA  has been using 18’s for a long time now and they’re quite durable.

It might not be any heavier, the tires will certainly be lighter and if teams are still able to make/design/contract there own wheels then who knows
